I’m here to share with you some easy persuading techniques. Life requires you to be able to persuade others and move them over to your side. It sounds like a form of manipulation and it is. Most people think that manipulation is a negative thing. but it really isn’t. It’s part of life and is how we make a functioning society. Could you imagine living in a society where everyone went their own way and there was no way to persuade another person? There would be literally chaos in the city streets. The real issue people have is that some people are better at persuasion than others. I’m going to show you some easy persuading techniques. so you can get the upper hand. The first technique is really quite simple. We like to think that we can think for ourselves and make our own choices. but this sadly not true. Often we’ll look to other people. people that we identify with. to see what we should do. I’m sure you’ve been with a crowd of people and weren’t sure how to react. so you look around at other people to see how they did. This is known as social proof and it can be quite powerful. You may not be able to persuade someone as an individual. but if you can demonstrate a lot of other people are doing it too. you maybe able to get them to do it as well. Another one of the easy persuading techniques is the ability to play off someones self image. Image has two different meanings. they way they view themselves visually and the way they view themselves as personality wise. Since we view ourselves that way. our mind will instinctively work to keep these things consistent. People that think they’re ugly. will bet up on themselves. People that view themselves as charitable. will often get talked into donating money. It seems minor. but it’s powerful. If you understand someone’s self image. there is a lot you can do.
